Q1: What kind of surface is applicable?
Wotec double sided tape bonds perfectly on high surface energy materials such as aluminum, stainless steel, copper, zinc, glass, stone, ceramics, policarbonate, acrylic etc.
Q2: What preparation should I do before applying the tape?
For best bonding, the surfaces should be clean and dry before use. Most substrates are best prepared by cleaning with a 50:50 mixture of alcohol and water prior to applying.
Q3: How to remove it after applying?
Before removing the tape, the item it used to mount should be removed first. Do not pull the item straight out, instead we suggest twisting the item from the tape. Next, it can be removed by slowly stretching the tape parallel to the surface.
Q4: Can it be reused?
For repetitive use, just wash it with water and dry to refresh stickiness.
Q5: Can it be used on painted wall?
Our tape does stick on painted wall. However, it may stick aggressively to painted wall with flat paint (matte finish, doesn't reflect light) which may damage painted wall upon removal.
